What personal information do we ask for?
Whether you are booking a holiday or requesting a brochure, you will be asked
for you name, your postal address, your telephone and fax number and e-mail
address. We may also need your credit/debit card details (including cardholder
name, expiry date and start date) in order to take payment and confirm the
booking. If you are paying by debit card we may also need to take the issue
number of the card.
How does Hari Aum Holidays use this
personal information?
Brochure Requests
We need your name, address and email address so that we can action your
brochure request, and/or advise you of special offers/promotions we think you
may be interested in.
Holiday
Bookings
We will need your name so we can confirm these details to the relevant hotels,
airlines, transport companies etc. who the booking is for. We will need your
address so that we can send you a confirmation invoice as well as your travel
documents and in case we have to write to you about any part of your booking in
advance of your holiday. We will need your telephone number and email address
in the unlikely event that we need to contact you urgently about your booking.
We may also use this information to let you know about any special
offers/promotions we think may be of interest to you. We will take details of
special requirements such as those related to any disabilities or medical
conditions which may affect the holiday arrangements. We will need your
credit/debit card details so that we can collect payment for your booking.
Information you supply to us will be passed on to our suppliers (such as
airlines, hotels, transport companies) and agents only where necessary for the
purposes of booking your holiday. This may include the transfer of information
outside the EEA (European Economic Area).
Will Hari Aum Holidays disclose any of
this personal information to third parties?
Hari Aum Holidays will only disclose your name and booking details to the
suppliers for operational purposes. The information may also be provided to
security or credit checking companies, public authorities such as
customs/immigration if required by them or as required by law. Except where
expressly permitted by the Data Protection Act 1998, Hari Aum Holidayswill
only deal with the personal details you give to them as set out above unless
you agree otherwise. We may make contact with you or members of your holiday
party by post, e-mail or telephone for the purposes set out above. We will not
pass on your details to other companies for marketing purposes. We will take
full responsibility for ensuring that proper security measures are in place to
protect your information. We will use your information to inform you of offers
in the future or to send you brochures. If you do not wish to receive such
approaches in the future then please let us know as soon as possible in
writing. Hari Aum Holidays assumes that you have no objection to being
communicated with unless you have previously opted out or contacted us.
