| PASSPORTS & VISAS |
 |
|
You should note that some
countries have an immigration requirement for a passport to remain valid for a
minimum period after the date of entry to that country (typically six months).
If your passport is in its final year you should check the requirements of your
destination country well in advance of travel. All passengers are responsible
for ensuring that they are in possession of valid travelling documents with the
necessary entry visas for the countries they are visiting. All passengers from
the UK must be in possession of a valid 10 year British Citizen Passport. If
you do not have a passport allow at least 8 -12 weeks for your request to be
processed. If you are travelling from overseas/on a work permit you must have a
multiple entry to the UK and VISAS for the respective countries to be visited
during the tour or else you will not be able to travel.

| QUALITY HOTELS (all with en- suite facilities) |
 |
|
The hotels that we
use cover a wide range of styles in different locations and they are all
carefully selected for their atmosphere, location and hospitality. En Route
Hotels: It may be occasionally necessary to use alternative hotels
to those shown on the itineraries. Such alternative hotels will be of an
equivalent standard to those indicated and final details will be provided with
your tickets. Hotels may sometimes be located outside the city centres; in
outlying areas but will have access to the city for sight seeing.
Hotel Bedrooms: All prices are based on 2 adults sharing a
standard room with en-suite facilities.
Double Rooms: In some parts of Europe it is normal
practice to link two single beds together to use as a double bed.
Triple Rooms: Triple occupancy are based on rooms
with twin/double beds, where it may be possible to arrange a third bed (usually
foldaway/pullout/sofa bed) but this facility is not guaranteed and can not be
confirmed prior to travel.
Single Rooms: Single travellers may
feel that the cost of your holiday is higher than it should be. The reason for
charging the supplement is that the per person price for a lone traveller
includes the entire double room cost. We do not make additional/excessive
profits from these sales; the prices charged reflect the real cost to us. In
some hotels there are rooms designed for single occupancy, these are often
smaller/ sometimes less appointed. We do not know which room you will be given
as the hotel usually decides this shortly before you arrive.
Single Share Option:
Rather than levy single supplements we will accept individual bookings on a
'Share option' where we will try and introduce you to another single traveller,
willing to share, and if there is nobody available to share with, a single room
will be arranged (with single supplements payable by the customer).
Resort and hotel facilities: Unfortunately, it is possible
that some of the details contained within this brochure may have changed since
the brochure was printed. You will be informed of any changes when you book as
part of our commitment to quality customer services. If you have already
booked, we will do our best to tell you of any changes before departure. Please
remember that brochures are produced up to twelve months in advance and there
may be occasions when an advertised facility or entertainment is not available
or fully operational during your holiday especially if it is out of high
season.

|
| |
| MEALS |
 |
|
Hari Aum Holidays
specialise in providing full vegetarian meals freshly prepared for you. Details
of meals are indicated on each tour itinerary individually (B = BREAKFAST, L=
LUNCH, D = DINNER). All restaurants offer a set menu. Dishes outside this menu
must be paid for by the individual. Whenever special meals are requested, this
request will be passed on, however we can not guarantee their provisions by the
restaurant, hotel or airline.
|
|
| |
| OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS AND TRANSFERS |
 |
|
In addition to
any highlights already featured in the tour itinerary, some tours may have
optional excursions for your selection. A complete list with full details and
current prices will either be included with your final tour documentation prior
to departure or provided upon arrival. Please note that payments for these
excursions will need to be made in cash. The operation of all/any optional
excursions is subject to availability and a minimum number participating.
Prices may be subject to change and we also reserve the rights to substitute a
similar alternative excursion should it become necessary. Please note that
during local/national holidays or festivals certain facilities such as museums
may be closed and sightseeing tours and shopping may be limited. Please check
with the relevant tourist board for more details.
|
|
| |
| MINIMUM NUMBERS |
 |
|
For many holidays in
this brochure a minimum number of 20 people is required to enable them to take
place. We shall assess whether the minimum numbers have been reached and if we
feel that the holiday is not operationally viable we will inform you as soon as
possible.
|
|
| |
| NO SMOKING POLICY |
 |
|
We
maintain a totally non-smoking environment on board the coach for the comfort
of the majority of our passengers. Tours are planned to include at least one
stop on most half day segments, giving the smokers plenty of time for a
cigarette break. Most airlines have implemented a non-smoking policy and even
where there may be existing capacity on flights for our tour, this may not
remain the case by date of departure.
|
|
| |
| SPECIAL REQUESTS |
 |
|
Special requests
should be advised at the time of booking and noted on the booking form.
Although we endeavour to meet special requests, this is dependant on our
suppliers and can not guarantee that all your requirements are met. We can not
accept any booking that is conditional upon a special request being met.
|
|
| |
| MOBILITY/SPECIAL NEEDS |
 |
|
Most
of our holidays are designed to appeal to those who like to see as much as
possible of the countries visited in the time available. This inevitably may
mean lengthy periods of travel and excursions which involve walking. Some
degree of mobility is needed for you to gain full enjoyment from these
holidays. We are happy to accept bookings from people with a disability,
mobility limitation or specific medical needs, however we ask that you fully
consider your requirements and advise us of your needs before the booking is
confirmed. Reasonable adjustments may be made to ensure both your enjoyment and
safety whilst on holiday with us. However where we reasonably feel that we are
unable to make suitable adjustments e.g. on issues of safety for you and your
fellow travellers, we would consider refusing the booking. If you do not make
us aware of any disabilities or serious medical condition prior to booking, we
are entitled to cancel the booking when we become aware of it, if in our
reasonable opinion, the holiday is not, and can not be made suitable for the
person concerned. If we cancel in this situation the cancellation charges as
set out in clause 9 of the booking conditions would become payable. Please note
Hari Aum Holidays cannot provide individual assistance with boarding coaches or
other forms of transport, baggage handling, walking or other personal
requirements etc and clients should be confident that they can do these, tasks
unaided or with the help of a carer.
